Hi! I'm Esther,

and I help you preserve

your most precious memories.

I am in my element when I have a camera in my hands. There is something so special about looking at a picture and being transported back to that moment in your life. I truly feel honored to have the opportunity to provide that experience for my clients.

My love for photography started with nature photography, and it still brings me a lot of joy! Whether that's a waterfall, the beach or a gorgeous sunset - I am surrounded by beauty and taking photos helps me be present in the moment and appreciate it all.

My childhood was spent in the tropical country of Suriname, South America and I moved to Salem, Oregon when I was 19. Since then I have moved around some but made my way back to Oregon. A dream of mine came true in 2025 and I now get to live in Newport, on the beautiful Oregon coast, with the love of my life - and our two cute kitties and adorable pup.

My immediate family consists of three older brothers, a younger foster brother, three sisters-in-law, six beautiful nieces and one handsome little nephew. They all live in Suriname, and I go visit them when the opportunity arises.

Some of my favorite activities (outside of photography) are going for walks with my boyfriend while trying to identify birds, baking gluten-free desserts, going for long drives, playing board games and indulging in dark chocolate treats.

Oh, and puns are my favorite form of humor! I love them so much that I self-published a children's book full of pictures and puns! You can check it out on the "Books" tab. I had a blast writing this book and I hope you enjoy it as well!
