Esther did an amazing photo shoot of our extended family a few days ago on a cold, windy beach in Lincoln City. She was so friendly and even knew the names of the grandkids and greeted them by name. I couldnt believe that already last night we got to see the pics!! All of them came out so amazing-- everyone -- grandparents to toddler grandkids looked fabulous. It was a delightful process for us all. Highly recommend!!
We found ourselves at the coast to do a celebration of life for my mother. One of her greatest joys was to have pictures of family printed and ready to share when others visited her, so we knew we wanted to have a photographer to record the event. I asked for recommendations on a local Facebook page and received many responses. When I looked at Esther's work on her Facebook page, I immediately connected with the feel of her work. When I contacted her, she was very responsive, had ideas for a location and her pricing was extremely reasonable. The day before, my brother and I visited the area and fell in love with a different location. Esther readily agree to move the shoot to match our wish. On the day of, she showed up on time, with a smile and a willingness to take many different group shots. She captured a beautiful picture of our 32 family members, individual family shots, couples and even some singles to be used as headshots. She turned our gallery around much quicker than I expected and we were so pleased! I couldn't recommend Esther Joy Photography more!

Esther played a huge role in making our Oregon coast elopement joyful and carefree. From the beginning she was responsive and thorough. She helped us locate the perfect spot, and then when the forecast changed to, you know… April in Oregon… she reached out to colleagues and made a special trip out to the site to scout alternatives. She handled pouring rain, chilly temps, and 30 mph winds with good cheer and somehow took fabulous photos in spite of the weather. She was fun to spend the day with and has given us photos that will help us remember a wonderful day. We cannot say enough good things about her and are so glad to have met her! Forever grateful!
Esther was very nice, flexible, professional, and worked with us to pick the perfect location that my daughter had been dreaming of for her senior photos. The photos were delivered quickly and they turned out beautifully. My daughter had a wonderful day and Esther made her feel special.

I had such a good time with my shoot! Despite the weather not wanting to work with us 100%, Esther was persevering and patient. Esther also had no problem guiding us through the shoot and answered any questions I had. The pictures turned out way better than we were expecting and captured what was important to us. If I ever have the chance to, I would definitely book Esther again and recommend her to anyone looking for their photoshoot to be done.
We are definitely not naturals in front of a camera, but Esther made the entire experience fun and comfortable. She directed us with ease and confidence, which made all the difference for two photographically challenged people like us! Her energy was amazing, she kept us laughing and relaxed the whole time. What stood out most was how much she cared about capturing the images that mattered to us, as well as the pretty poses she put us in. On top of that, she delivered our photos quickly, and the quality blew us away. These are photos we’ll truly cherish for a lifetime. We couldn’t recommend her more!

Esther was very patient as well as flexible while working with our family of 6. Esther captured some beautiful moments of our family in a beautiful outdoor location. Esther was also flexible when it came to planning. It poured the original day of our planned shoot; She made arrangements to meet us on a day with far better weather for photos a week later. Esther also got our pictures edited and uploaded the day after our shoot! It made for a very nice surprise on Mother's Day! Thank you, Esther!
