As a photographer, I love a gloomy, overcast day for a photo shoot. A rainy day? Not so much! But when my client drove 5.5 hours to get to the Oregon coast AND it was her maternity shoot, there was no way I was going to let a little rain spoil our fun!
Rayanne and Jason were such good sports! Even though it did rain for the first half of their shoot - and the wind made it a bit chilly on the beach, they didn't complain at all. We had a great time together despite the weather not cooperating!
This was my first time doing a photo shoot in the rain, and while it certainly wasn't ideal, I'm so glad we went through with it. It was remarkable - and memorable for sure! Congratulations to the soon-to-be mom and dad!
P.S. As we were packing up our cars after having finished the shoot, the skies cleared completely - and the sun even came out!
